1991 Graduated from Nirayama High School (Shizuoka)
1996 Graduated from Kyoto University with the degree of Bachelor of Science.
1998 Obtained an M.S. from Kyoto University (field: molecular genetics of plant development).
2001 Obtained a Ph.D. from Kyoto University (Supervisor: Masao Tasaka at Graduate School of Biological Sciences, Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Ikoma, Nara, Japan).
Job History
2001-2003 Served as a post doctoral fellow of CREST, Japan Science and Technology Corporation at Research Institute for Biological Sciences, Okayama (Koji Goto's lab).
2003-2005 Research fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (Masao Tasaka's lab and Gerd Jürgens's lab at Universität Tübingen, Germany)
2005-2007 Post doctoral fellow at Universität Tübingen (Gerd Jürgens's lab)
2007-present Assistant professor at Department of Biological Sciences, Graduate School of Science, and Faculty of Science, Osaka University
